an ice cream story

on tuesdays we work in an area called quichinche, which is a small town a 10 minute bus ride outside of otavalo.  it's really a beautiful campo (country) area, but there is also a town center.  we worked the center on tuesday and the brothers and sisters were telling us about "the best ice cream ever" which is in this town. 

so obviously we had to get some! 

 but we ran into a problem... the trash truck came by, and the lady who runs the shop ran out with the trash, and locked herself out!  not to worry, josh boosted francisco in through the window...

and he let the lady into her own house/shop....

and we all had ice cream under the ecuadorian sun!
