the answer to that is, not really, but we hope to!
we took surf lessons yesterday! as an anniversary celebratory day (one day late) we spent a leisurely day yesterday sleeping in, eating crepes for breakfast, going to the beach, taking surf lessons, eating yummy burgers for lunch, napping on the beach.... our dinner plans were ruined by threats of storm (tons of lightening and thunder which made us think there would be tons of rain...although there wasnt) but we still had a fantastic day.
we spent one hour with an instructor which was tons of fun.... he points you in the direction of the shore, pushes you into a wave and yells "get up get up get up get up!" and we did, we got up and "rode" our teeny tiny waves into the shore! it was great! today will be the real test, we get an hour with the board but without an instructor so we shall see if we can do it without the assistance!
keep it up! then you get to say: "we learned how to surf in Costa Rica."
