ciao

the little kids here are SO CUTE. seriously, they are adorable little munchkins. i try to have conversations with them and most of the time do not have any idea what they're saying.... i'll ask what their name is and they look at me with horrified big eyes (who is this large gringo lady) and mumble something into their mom's legs. but the one thing they almost all say with a big smile and a wave is "ciao" for "bye"! i'm always saying "adios" or "hasta luego" and they smile and wave and say "ciao!" I LOVE IT.
