so bobbi (josh's mom) came to visit us in november..... and i am LONG overdue in posting photos from the visit! we took a 2 week road trip through the sierra and saw some beautiful country. cotopaxi is the 2nd highest mountain in ecuador, reaching over 19,000 feet. it is topped with a glaciar, and is a beautiful sight. it's about 4 hours south of us and 2 hours south of quito (the capital). we spent our first and last night of the road trip by cotapaxi. the last night we spent was at a beautiful old hacienda, hacienda la cienega. below are some photos of the mountain and the hacienda.
