tacos

conversation with a sister the other day (in Spanish obviously):

her: do you like tacos?
me: yes they are delicious!
her: what?
me: I like all Mexican food.
her (laughing): NO not tacos like the food, tacos like the shoes!
me: what?!
her: high heels? do you like high heels?
me: OH! yes! but why are they called tacos like the food?
her: because of the sound they make... ta-co ta-co ta-co.
me: oh. hm. ok.
