we are starting the new service year with a bang! last week i placed a bible teach book with one of my RVs, she's probably about 21 or so, and next week i am going to attempt to start studying with her! it's tough because of the language barrier, i want to be able to draw her our and ask questions but then when she answers them i don't know what she says! so i am hoping to be able to go with one of the sisters in our hall who speak english so that they can fill me in on what i missed. and yesterday in service i was working with linda, one of the older american sisters here, and two brothers were at a door and they called us over. they were talking to a young girl (maybe 13 years old?) and they said "she has a bible teach book and she wants to study" and then they left us! LOL! so we did the first few intro pages with her and i will be going back in 2 weeks to start chapter one with her. i'm excited because younger kids are really patient with my limited spanish and they also will correct me, which i like. so far she seems really sweet, very quiet (probably confused about the 2 men who threw 2 american ladies at her and ran away) but was conversational, when we asked her questions she was open about answering. so i will keep you posted!
here's a photo of us waiting for the bus to go out in service about 2 weeks ago (photo taken by camille up the street from us):

a) you guys look super stylish for service! b) take those studies whatever way they come. what great opportunities Jehovah is sending your way!
